offical new year's post

dear 2007,

i can't even begin to tell you how much you sucked.

i'm starting a new journal and a new planner and i'm going to forget about you.
i know you were a lot worse for many other people than you were for me.

2008 will be totally perfect and utopian. surely.
it begins with the brian lehrer show and coffee.

by the way, we're making more kimchee: two huge jars of sorta normal kimchee, and also a jar of red cabbage sauerkraut and a jar of gingered carrot pickles. prepping vegetables was starting to get really tedious when everyone else was going to parties.
